Movie-SYNOPSIS/PLOT:
In 1976, during the period of Emergency in India, a government policy of forced sterilization was implemented, aimed at population control. Shukranu tells the story of Inder (played by Divyenndu Sharma), a young man living in a small town who is forced into undergoing a sterilization procedure. Upon returning home, Inder faces a significant dilemma: he must now deal with the social and personal implications of his condition, particularly his wife, who is unaware of the procedure.
